AI can be wrong
An AI-generated draft may omit relevant details, misunderstand context, use inappropriate language, or add an unsupported connection. Different generations may emphasize different supplied facts. Variation does not prove accuracy or originality.
Your review is required
Before copying a draft into any record, compare it with the session facts, correct every error, remove unsupported statements, and confirm that interventions, responses, prompts, reinforcement, roles, and outcomes are accurate. Never sign or submit an unreviewed draft.
No clinical or billing determination
The service does not diagnose, prescribe treatment, determine medical necessity, choose a CPT code, verify supervision, establish mastery, or guarantee payer or audit acceptance. The documentation-readiness checklist is an editing aid only.
Privacy requirement
Only de-identified treatment details should be submitted. The privacy detector catches some common patterns but cannot recognize every person, identifier, or combination of facts. A successful check does not mean the content is anonymous or HIPAA compliant.
Extension behavior
The extension does not independently decide what belongs in a clinical note. It reads only after permission and a user action, displays captured fields for review, and requires confirmation before generation. You must verify both the captured information and the resulting draft.
Emergency and safety matters
Do not rely on NoteFlow for emergencies, incident reporting, mandated reporting, medical advice, or immediate safety decisions. Follow your organization’s procedures and contact the appropriate supervisor or emergency resource.
